Summary

Official Details
In bowling, a "turkey" refers to the impressive feat of rolling three consecutive strikes. Mai, a second-year student and captain of the Ikkokukan High School Bowling Club, is widely regarded as a prodigy on the lanes. Yet despite her undeniable talent, she suffers from a baffling inability to actually win a match. Every time she achieves a turkey, she inexplicably follows it up with a devastating split known as the Snake Eyes—an unyielding pin formation that consistently ruins her momentum and costs her the game. This frustrating pattern does not go unnoticed by Rina, the club’s sole first-year member. Eventually reaching her breaking point, Rina confronts her captain with a startling accusation: she believes Mai is deliberately sabotaging herself. According to Rina, Mai is subconsciously running away from victory rather than embracing it. Driven by her own fierce desire to compete and s쳮d, the younger bowler issues a firm ultimatum. She declares that if Mai has no genuine intention of ever winning a match, she will leave the club entirely. This tense confrontation forces both players to face their conflicting motivations, setting the stage for a compelling story about ambition, self-sabotage, and the pressure of competition.
