Ruri Rocks

Ruri Tanigawa is a high school student with an extraordinary fascination for all things that glitter. Her deep affection for shiny objects goes far beyond casual admiration, driving her to venture into rugged mountain terrain in pursuit of natural crystals. It is during one of these solitary expeditions that she encounters Nagi Arato, a graduate student whose academic focus lies in the field of mineralogy. This chance meeting marks the beginning of an unexpected partnership. United by their shared interest in geological treasures, Ruri and Nagi start exploring the wilderness together to collect minerals. What begins as a simple hobby fueled by Ruri’s attraction to sparkling stones gradually transforms into something much more profound under Nagi’s knowledgeable guidance. As they spend more time uncovering the earth's hidden gems, Ruri’s perspective shifts dramatically. The mountains become both a classroom and a sanctuary where she discovers the intricate science behind the formations she once admired solely for their shine. Through this collaborative journey, she develops a sincere appreciation for scientific inquiry and a deeper reverence for the breathtaking beauty inherent in the natural world.
