April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hana Tabata is a lonely, unpopular high school girl whose daily life is overshadowed by persistent negative thoughts. Struggling to find her place among her peers, she often retreats into her own imagination to escape the harsh realities of adolescence. One early morning, while alone in the classroom and lost in a fantasy where she pretends to be a heroine from her favorite manga, her private moment is unexpectedly interrupted. Yosuke, the most handsome boy in her class, accidentally walks in and witnesses her embarrassing performance, shattering her carefully constructed illusion. This awkward encounter sets the stage for an unconventional romantic comedy that viewers will undoubtedly find themselves rooting for. Rather than fleeing from the situation, the story leans into Hana's self-deprecating nature, transforming her lack of popularity and masochistic tendencies into the foundation of a charming narrative. As the dynamic between the gloomy Hana and the popular Yosuke begins to develop, the series delivers a heartfelt and humorous exploration of young love, proving that even the most unlikely protagonists can find their way to an endearing romance.
