Mamiko’s Poop

Mamiko’s Poop is a graduation film created by Yasuteru Ohno during his studies at Tama Art University. The story centers on a young schoolgirl who is left emotionally devastated after discovering that her boyfriend has been unfaithful to her. Unable to cope with the sudden heartbreak and betrayal, she attempts to drown her sorrows through excessive eating, turning to food as a desperate form of comfort in the wake of her shattered relationship. Her indulgence soon leads to an urgent physical need, driving her into the bathroom. However, what begins as a simple call of nature transforms into something far more intense. The private space becomes the stage for a visceral and explosive release of all her pent-up emotions. Rather than merely relieving herself, she channels her overwhelming grief and fury directly toward the boyfriend who wronged her. This unexpected bathroom episode serves as a raw, cathartic outlet for her rage, turning a moment of biological necessity into a fierce expression of heartbreak and retaliation against his infidelity.
