Moonrise

In the near future, humanity thrives under a loosely unified global government guided by an international artificial intelligence network known as Sapientia. By faithfully adhering to its calculated directives, society enjoys an era of unprecedented peace and stability on Earth. However, this tranquility comes at a severe cost. To preserve the planet's harmony, Sapientia orchestrates a controversial lunar development initiative that exiles criminals and hazardous pollutants to the Moon. Over time, this ruthless policy breeds deep poverty and systemic inequality among the lunar population, ultimately igniting the spark for a devastating interplanetary war. Jacob "Jack" Shadow is thrust into the heart of this escalating conflict after a tragic terrorist bombing orchestrated by the Moon's rebel army claims the lives of his family. Consumed by grief and driven by a thirst for vengeance, Jack enlists in the Earth military, deploying to the lunar surface as a scout. Yet, as he navigates the harsh realities of the battlefield and confronts the resistance firsthand, his mission takes an unforeseen turn when he discovers a surprising and unexpected leader guiding the rebel forces.
