The Legend of Princess Chang-Ge

In the wake of the catastrophic Xuanwu Gate Incident, Crown Prince Li Jiancheng and his political allies were executed, while nearly all of his sons were implicated and put to death. Historical records of the era mention only a few surviving daughters, including the Lady of Wenxi County and an eldest daughter, leaving the fate of others shrouded in ambiguity. Out of these historical obscurities steps Yongning Princess Li Changge, whose parents shared a complex and deeply enigmatic relationship with the victorious Li Shimin. Upon discovering that her mother committed suicide and her father was murdered during the coup, Changge's world shatters. Consumed by grief and bitter resentment, she manages to flee the imperial palace. To ensure her survival and evade those hunting her, she disguises herself as a man. Harboring a fierce determination, Changge resolves to gather loyal troops and return to Chang'an to exact vengeance for the brutal deaths of her parents.
