Blue Miburo

Set in 1863 during the final years of the shogunate, Japan stands on the brink of profound transformation. The capital’s streets run red with blood as escalating political turmoil pits wandering masterless ronin against government samurai, igniting one of the most volatile eras in the nation's history. Amid this chaos lives Nio, a young orphan intimately acquainted with hardship who nevertheless refuses to abandon his fierce sense of justice and his dream of forging a better world. His fate shifts dramatically when he encounters Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Souji, two founding members of a despised faction of ronin known as the Miburo—a group destined to become the legendary Shinsengumi. Captivated by the resolve of these so-called "Blue Wolves of Mibu," Nio enlists in their ranks, determined to help carve out the future he envisions. Yet as daily betrayals and shifting allegiances threaten to consume everyone around him, he must fight to preserve his conscience in a world defined by relentless violence.
