Petit Eva: Evangelion@School

Petit Eva: Evangelion@School stands as the first officially recognized super-deformed adaptation of the acclaimed Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. Developed as a spinoff by Gainax and Khara, this comedic series playfully subverts the intense psychological science fiction drama of its source material. The story transports familiar faces into an entirely new setting, reimagining them as ordinary students navigating the everyday chaos of school life at Nerv School in Tokyo-3. The institution is overseen by Principal Gendō Ikari, with Misato serving as one of the faculty members guiding the eccentric student body. Rather than piloting giant mechs or battling existential threats, these characters face typical classroom antics. Among the most notable students are three distinct Rei sisters who attend classes together. Adding to the unusual roster is Evanchō, a humorous reinterpretation of the iconic EVA-01 mobile weapon, who now stalks the hallways as the resident school bully. Even the ill-fated Jet Alone robot receives a surprising transformation within this lighthearted universe. Known as JA-ko, this former machine has been reimagined as a shy android girl. Operating as a hidden character within the school's social hierarchy, she quietly rounds out a cast that turns a once-serious narrative into an entertaining, character-driven comedy.
