MF GHOST Season 2

The second race of the MFG tournament takes place on the notoriously demanding Lake Ashinoko circuit. Despite piloting a Toyota 86 GT that is significantly outmatched in raw horsepower, Kanata Katagiri leverages precise mechanical tuning to rapidly climb into a qualifying position. However, conditions deteriorate drastically when a torrential downpour strikes on the final day of racing. The sudden deluge severely compromises tire traction, forcing every driver on the track to fight for control. Drawing upon his unique upbringing and rigorous training, Kanata adapts to the treacherous weather far better than his rivals. He executes daring, high-risk maneuvers to surge ahead of the struggling pack, leaving spectators stunned by his performance. Yet, two formidable obstacles remain between him and victory: Michael Beckenbauer, the winner of the previous race, and Kouki Sawatari, the reigning record holder at Lake Ashinoko. Even if Kanata manages to close the gap on these elite competitors, he cannot afford a moment of complacency. A relentless group of drivers lurks just behind him in his rearview mirror, waiting to capitalize on even the slightest mistake.
