True Beauty

Having transformed her appearance through the power of makeup, Jugyeong transfers to Saebom High School to escape a painful history of bullying. Saebom is renowned as a breeding ground for idols, actors, and social media influencers, a status fueled by its distinct tradition: an anonymous campus-wide vote to crown the school's "True Beauty" goddess, which frequently leads to talent scouting by major entertainment agencies. Jugyeong unexpectedly finds herself thrust into the spotlight as a prime candidate for the title, drawing the attention of Sujin, the reigning two-time goddess. Beneath Sujin's warm and welcoming exterior, however, lies a dangerous, malicious agenda. Determined to sabotage Jugyeong, Sujin sets calculated traps to dismantle her rival. Refusing to revert to her victimized past, Jugyeong stands her ground and vows to secure the coveted title, plunging herself into a fierce voting battle while frantically protecting her bare face from exposure. Complications multiply when Suho Lee, the school's brooding heartthrob, inadvertently discovers what she looks like without cosmetics, and Jugyeong crosses paths with SeoJun Han, an enigmatic student determined to uncover her true identity. As her life becomes inextricably linked with both young men, Jugyeong navigates a high-stakes journey of deception, intrigue, and personal awakening. Caught in the crossfire of a superficial society, she must decide whether she can triumph over adversity or whether she will buckle under the intense pressures of a beauty-obsessed world.
