In the aftermath of a devastating nuclear winter, humanity has lost its dominion over the earth. Rampant mutations have reshaped the natural world, and essential survival resources have grown perilously scarce. Through an unforeseen turn of events, they awaken to extraordinary superhuman abilities that fundamentally alter their path forward. Driven by the urgent need to provide for himself and protect those he cares about, Ren Xiaosu departs from the only town he has ever known and ventures into the treacherous Border Mountains. His journey quickly becomes a brutal test of endurance as he faces relentless threats, including coordinated wolf pack attacks, terrifying man-faced insects, and other deadly mutant creatures. As these harrowing encounters unfold, his newly awakened powers begin to manifest in unexpected ways. With danger closing in from every direction, Ren Xiaosu must master his evolving abilities if he hopes to survive the lethal trials that lie ahead.
