Dororo Re:Verse

Set against the backdrop of modern-day Japan, Dororo Re:Verse follows Hyakki, an ancient swordsman thrust into a contemporary world. His singular purpose is to hunt down Yokai and reclaim the scattered shards of his own body, which were stolen by demons long ago. Each battle brings him closer to restoring his physical form, but the path is fraught with dangerous supernatural adversaries lurking within the city's shadows. His journey intersects with Roro, a homeless young girl driven by the desperate need to avenge the murder of her parents. Beyond her quest for justice, Roro harbors a profound mystery: a hidden shard resides within her own body, linking her fate inextricably to Hyakki's mission. Bound together by circumstance and shared tragedy, the unlikely pair forms an alliance to confront the demonic forces threatening them both. Serving as a bold expansion of Osamu Tezuka’s classic Dororo, this manga reimagines the original narrative for a new generation. By transplanting its core themes into a modern setting, the series crafts a compelling tale of vengeance, redemption, and the enduring fight against darkness.
