The Great Cleric

Just as a dedicated salaryman was on the verge of earning a hard-fought promotion, his life was abruptly cut short by a fatal gunshot. Taking pity on him, a deity chose to reincarnate him into another world as Luciel, a fifteen-year-old healer. However, this second chance at life quickly proves to be far from peaceful. The nation where Luciel finds himself harbors a deep-seated prejudice against healers, placing him in immediate danger. Determined to survive in such a hostile environment, he seeks refuge and protection by joining the local adventurers' guild. What Luciel discovers is that the guild's training regimen is far more grueling than anything he could have anticipated. Instead of focusing on traditional healing arts, his daily routine revolves around punishing physical conditioning and the forced consumption of a mysterious, foul concoction known only as Substance X. This relentless and borderline masochistic lifestyle seems entirely disconnected from his intended role as a cleric. Now reborn and thrust into an unforgiving new reality, Luciel must endure unimaginable hardship every single day, turning his fight for survival into an extraordinary journey unlike any conventional healer's tale.
