PSYCHO-PASS: Providence

In January 2118, Chief Inspector Akane Tsunemori of the Criminal Investigation Department is drawn into a dangerous mystery following the discovery of Professor Milicia Stronskaya’s body aboard a foreign vessel. The murder is quickly linked to the Peacebreakers, a hostile foreign paramilitary organization seeking to secure the professor’s highly classified research documents, known as the Stronskaya Papers. As this external threat encroaches upon Japan, Akane finds herself unexpectedly reunited with Shinya Kogami, a former fugitive from her own department. Together, they must navigate an investigation that rapidly escalates far beyond their initial expectations. The stakes prove unprecedented when it becomes clear that the Stronskaya Papers hold the potential to expose a devastating truth—one capable of destabilizing the Japanese government and undermining the very foundation of the Sibyl System. Faced with mounting pressure and a formidable enemy operating outside the law, Akane is forced to confront a crisis that challenges everything she believes in. This untold chapter reveals the critical missing link in the overarching saga, bridging past events and setting the stage for the conflicts yet to come.
