Otaku Elf

Takamimi Shrine harbors a most unconventional resident: Elda, an ancient elf whose true passion lies not in spiritual devotion but in video games. Living as a complete recluse, she dedicates her days to achieving perfect completion in every title she plays. Her sole connection to the outside world is Koito Koganei, the shrine’s teenage attendant, who ensures the immortal shut-in remains thoroughly stocked with energy drinks and junk food. Despite her deep love for gaming, Elda still carries sacred responsibilities that require her attention. Koito is fiercely determined to see the otaku elf fulfill these duties, no matter how deeply engrossed she becomes in her latest virtual adventure. Persuading an ancient being to step away from her console proves to be no simple task, requiring careful negotiation rather than force. Ultimately, it takes little more than a well-timed offering of her favorite treats to convince Elda to set down her controller and attend to the shrine, turning everyday obligations into a lighthearted battle of wills between the devoted attendant and her easily bribed deity.
