Blade of Dawn

After perishing in a catastrophic plane crash, the protagonist finds his consciousness inexplicably transferred into a physical body within a mysterious spatial installation. This enigmatic structure orbits an alien world unlike anything he has ever known, leaving him entirely isolated from humanity and trapped as a silent observer of a foreign realm. For over one hundred thousand years, he remains suspended in this solitary vigil, bearing witness to the breathtaking emergence and gradual evolution of life on the planet below. He watches entire civilizations rise from nothing, flourish across the ages, and ultimately crumble into ruin. Through countless millennia, he endures the endless cycles of creation and destruction without the ability to intervene, serving only as an immortal spectator to history. His unimaginable era of observation finally comes to an abrupt end when he awakens inside a sealed coffin. The story follows Gawain, who is not merely a lost soul from another world but the Grand Duke and a founding figure of the Kingdom of Ansu. Now returned to a world that has moved forward without him for eons, he must navigate the remnants of the very history he spent millennia watching unfold.
