Do It Yourself!!

Constructing furniture and cultivating meaningful friendships share a surprising number of similarities. Both endeavors demand clear intention, sustained effort, and a willingness to put in hard work. Do It Yourself!! follows the journey of a dedicated group of high school girls who are members of a DIY club, where they learn that creating something from scratch requires patience and resilience. As they gather to design, measure, and build various projects, they discover that the skills required to shape wood and metal are the same ones needed to strengthen their bonds with one another. The path is rarely smooth, as every project presents its own set of challenges and setbacks. Yet, no obstacle is enough to deter these determined young women from pursuing their goals. Through trial and error, they transform raw materials into functional pieces while simultaneously carving out their own futures. The series beautifully captures their unwavering spirit, illustrating how the act of making things by hand becomes a powerful metaphor for personal growth. Ultimately, this is a heartfelt story about taking initiative and embracing the satisfaction of tangible results. Whether they are assembling a new piece of furniture or navigating the complexities of youth, the girls of the DIY club prove that dedication yields extraordinary rewards. Furniture, friendships, and the future—they are building it all with their own two hands.
