Dongitsune Season 2

"Dongitsune Season 2" is a collection of animated commercial shorts produced to promote Nissin's Donbei Kitsune Udon instant noodles. Serving as the follow-up to the first season, which featured live-action commercials starring Riho Yoshioka and Gen Hoshino, this second installment transitions the campaign into an animated format. The series consists of ten episodes released between September 2022 and February 2024, each highlighting different themes tied to the product and seasonal events. The episodes range from autumn festival celebrations and New Year's Eve specials to comedic vignettes focusing on the fox characters' expressive ears and tails. Notable installments include the arrival of the strongest Dongitsune, a spotlight on the Donbei PRO product line, and stories that playfully emphasize the honest nature of the characters' features. Through its charming animation and lighthearted storytelling, the special continues to blend traditional Japanese folklore motifs with modern advertising, delivering entertaining promotional content centered around the beloved udon brand.
