Yumenashi Sensei no Shinro Shidou

Takanashi once built a career as a professional consultant, but he has since transitioned into the role of a guidance counselor at a local school. Rather than offering gentle encouragement or blindly supporting every ambition his students bring to him, he takes a starkly different approach during their one-on-one career meetings. When faced with headstrong teenagers harboring lofty aspirations, Takanashi confronts them with hard data and unvarnished truths about the world they are preparing to enter. His primary objective is to force these idealistic youths to critically reevaluate their dreams before they set themselves up for inevitable disappointment. By laying out the harsh realities of society and the statistical odds stacked against them, he hopes to steer them toward more practical and achievable paths in life. However, this uncompromising method does not go unnoticed by the student body. Instead of earning their gratitude for his pragmatic advice, Takanashi quickly develops a formidable reputation throughout the school halls. The students who have endured his blunt, reality-driven counseling sessions begin referring to him by a chilling new moniker: "The Dream Crusher." This title reflects the deep divide between his well-intentioned desire to protect them from failure and the emotional toll his methods take on those whose hopes he dismantles.
