Inu-Oh

Born with striking physical anomalies, Inu-Oh is concealed from the world by his parents, who drape garments over every inch of his body and hide his face behind a mask. His isolated existence shifts dramatically when he encounters Tomona, a blind boy who earns his living playing the biwa. As Tomona begins to sing and strum his instrument, Inu-Oh experiences a profound awakening, discovering an extraordinary, innate talent for dance. The two quickly form an unbreakable bond, transforming into inseparable companions united by their shared artistic gifts. Together, they begin performing for the public, and their electrifying shows rapidly attract widespread acclaim and massive crowds. Yet beneath their rising fame lie haunting mysteries: what caused Tomona’s blindness, and why was Inu-Oh born with such unusual features? Set against the backdrop of fourteenth-century Japan, this narrative follows a legendary artist who boldly defied fate to carve out his own destiny. Presented as a vibrant animated rock operetta, the film delivers spectacular music and breathtaking dance sequences that bring this remarkable tale to life.
