When Ryou Mizushima enters junior high school, he throws himself into the badminton club with remarkable enthusiasm. Despite the team lacking a dedicated coach, his natural athleticism and relentless drive allow him to sharpen his skills enough to compete in the prefectural tournament. His impressive performance catches the attention of Coach Ebihara from Yokohama Minato High School, who approaches him with an invitation to join their program. Naturally indecisive and timid, Ryou hesitates at the prospect of attending such a prestigious institution. It is only through the firm encouragement of his older sister, Rika, that he finds the courage to accept the offer and enroll at Yokohama Minato. Stepping into this new environment, Ryou finally gains access to proper coaching and a roster of uniquely talented teammates. Surrounded by players who challenge and inspire him, he begins to acquire the competitive experience he previously lacked. With renewed confidence and a supportive team behind him, Ryou sets his sights on an ambitious goal: leading Yokohama Minato to victory at the national inter-high tournament.
