Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Reina Aharen is a petite, reserved high school student whose everyday life remains an enigma to those around her. Despite her quiet demeanor, she struggles with a peculiar social quirk: she is entirely unable to gauge the appropriate physical and emotional distance between herself and others. Sitting beside her in class is Raidou, a fellow student who initially perceives a noticeable gap between them, unsure of how to bridge the divide created by her unusual behavior. Their dynamic shifts dramatically during an ordinary moment in the classroom. When Aharen accidentally drops her eraser, Raidou reaches down to retrieve it for her. This simple, courteous gesture instantly shatters the perceived space between them. In that brief exchange, the previously distant atmosphere vanishes, replaced by a sudden and overwhelming proximity that feels startlingly close. From that point forward, the relationship between the two classmates transforms into something entirely unpredictable.
