During her high school years, Kang Su-Ji earned a formidable reputation as an unwavering crusader for justice, refusing to turn a blind eye to any wrongdoing she witnessed. Now married and settled back in her hometown, she expects a quiet life. Rather than greeting her with the warmth of old acquaintances, Hui-Do treats her with open and unapologetic hostility. His disdain is immediate and blatant, leaving Su-Ji bewildered by his sudden animosity. For a woman who has built her identity on confronting unfairness, his aggressive behavior presents a challenge she cannot simply ignore or walk away from.
