The Terrible Act

Jang Hee-Won was once a celebrated film director, but her prestigious career crumbles when shocking evidence of her abusive conduct comes to light. The anonymous sponsor presents a provocative proposition: the production of a series of adult films featuring Jae-Hee, a former admirer turned actor whose own career was destroyed by Hee-Won’s past actions. With their livelihoods hanging in the balance, both Hee-Won and Jae-Hee reluctantly accept the arrangement. Bound together by this controversial project, they are forced into an intimate collaboration that neither anticipated. What begins as a transactional endeavor soon evolves into something far more complex as old grievances and lingering resentments surface behind closed doors. As the cameras roll and the boundaries between performance and reality blur, their shared history casts a long shadow over every interaction. Stripped of their former status and left with only each other, the two must navigate a treacherous emotional landscape. Whether this unconventional partnership will unearth genuine affection or merely expose the shameful secrets they have long tried to bury remains uncertain, leaving their fates entirely in the hands of the lens.
