The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc

It is April 2095, a full century after magic was formalized as a legitimate technology. Two siblings, Tatsuya and Miyuki, begin their studies at the National Magic University Affiliated First High School, an elite academy for magicians commonly referred to as First High. While Miyuki is celebrated as a prodigy with unparalleled magical ability, her older brother Tatsuya is regarded as an irregular, burdened by a fundamental flaw in his magical capabilities. To outside observers, the pair appears remarkably close, often mistaken for a romantic couple. Yet this deep bond is a recent development, masking a far colder history. Only a few years earlier, their dynamic was entirely dysfunctional, defined not by familial affection but by the rigid hierarchy of master and servant. The transformation in their relationship traces back to a single defining incident that occurred three years prior in Okinawa. This unforgettable experience shattered the boundaries between them, fundamentally altering their connection and redirecting the course of both their souls and their intertwined destinies forever.
