Ancient Girl’s Frame

In the late twenty-first century, the discovery of Divine Grace energy—commonly known as DG energy—transforms Earth's economy and propels humanity into the cosmos. This golden age of expansion is abruptly shattered when the first expeditionary fleet reaches Pluto and encounters the Nergal, a mysterious and colossal life-form of unknown origin. To counter this existential threat, the Earth Alliance Army unearths ancient mechanical weapons called G's Frames from archaeological sites across the globe. These formidable machines can only be piloted by young women possessing unique aptitudes, designated as Ancient Girls, who are organized into specialized combat units known as AG Units. The war takes a devastating toll during the Jupiter Trojan campaign, where the inaugural AG Unit suffers catastrophic losses. Among the fallen is Reiu Minamiya, the pilot of Unit 04, who vanishes in action and is presumed lost. Years later, her younger sister, Reika Minamiya, enlists in the AG Unit, driven by an unwavering determination to uncover the truth behind Reiu's disappearance. Thrust into a brutal interstellar conflict, Reika must forge bonds with her fellow pilots while facing deadly engagements against the Nergal. Her journey becomes a harrowing tale of sisterhood, the legacy of ancient technology, and desperate battles for the survival of humanity.
