SAKUGAN

In the distant future, humanity survives in densely packed underground settlements known as Colonies. Carved out of solid bedrock, these confined spaces offer shelter but leave little room to breathe. Beyond the safety of the Colony walls lies a vast, uncharted territory called The Labyrinth—a treacherous and undeveloped expanse filled with unknown dangers. Those brave enough to venture into this perilous frontier to map its depths are revered as Markers, risking their lives to chart a path for others. Memempu is a spirited young girl who dreams of becoming a Marker and exploring the world beyond her cramped home. Her father, Gagumber, is a former Marker who abandoned the dangerous profession long ago. Despite their opposing views on the Labyrinth, fate pushes this unlikely father-daughter duo to join forces. Together, they form a ragtag team determined to brave the darkness and uncover the mysteries hidden within the uncharted depths. Guided by a single, defiant philosophy—"If there is no path, then dig one!"—they set out on an extraordinary adventure that will test their courage, their bond, and their will to survive.
