Summary

Official Details
By the year 2061, Japan has lost its sovereignty, fractured and controlled by the world’s four dominant economic blocs. The Japanese population endures daily life as oppressed subjects under foreign rule, stripped of their autonomy and dignity. Their homeland has been transformed into a global frontline, heavily patrolled by AMAIM—humanoid special mobile weapons deployed by each rival economic zone to enforce their authority and maintain control over the divided territory. Amid this bleak reality, Amou Shiiba, a young man with a deep passion for machinery, experiences a turning point that alters his fate. He encounters an autonomous thinking AI designated as "Gai," an i-LeS unit whose presence awakens a fierce resolve within him. Inspired by this encounter, Amou decides to fight back against the subjugation of his people. Taking matters into his own hands, he pilots the Kenbu, a custom AMAIM he constructed himself, and thrusts his life into a dangerous struggle to reclaim Japan from the grip of its occupiers.
