For several years, social media has buzzed with reports of bizarre entities known as Hologram Ghosts. Survivors of these paranormal encounters describe the creatures as resembling corrupted digital projections, and rumors suggest that numerous individuals have already fallen victim to them. Hiro Amanokawa, a middle school student at Hazakura Academy, initially dismisses these accounts as nothing more than modern urban legends. Yet, as the frequency of attacks escalates, he finds himself haunted by memories of his father’s sudden disappearance—an event that defied all rational explanation and left behind only a peculiar digital watch as a memento. When a classmate at the academy is targeted by one of these spectral anomalies, Hiro can no longer ignore the growing threat. He teams up with his friend Kiyoshirou Higashimitarai to investigate the escalating phenomenon. Unbeknownst to both boys, their decision to uncover the truth behind the Hologram Ghosts marks the beginning of a harrowing journey. Their inquiry will soon thrust them into a perilous, hidden world that humanity has never before encountered, forever altering their understanding of reality.
