Ichiban Chikakute Tooi Hoshi

Ichiban Chikakute Tooi Hoshi is a short film produced as a collaborative effort between acclaimed creator loundraw and the Z-KAI Group under the banner of PROJECT COMMON. The work unfolds within the same universe established by loundraw's debut feature film, Summer Ghost, expanding upon its atmospheric setting while introducing a new narrative focus centered on the pressures and aspirations of youth. The story follows Kaori, a dedicated young student and active member of her school's Astronomy Club. Balancing her passion for stargazing with the heavy demands of her academic future, she finds herself at a pivotal crossroads. Determined to secure admission into her top-choice school, Kaori commits herself to rigorous study through the Z-KAI educational program. As she navigates the intense preparation required for her entrance examinations, her journey captures the quiet resilience of a student striving toward a distant goal, blending the emotional depth characteristic of loundraw's storytelling with a grounded depiction of academic perseverance.
