Summer Meets God

Summer has entered a new relationship, but her latest romantic interest is far from ordinary—he is not human. This startling development introduces an unexpected dynamic into the family's already chaotic lives, setting the stage for a bizarre series of events that only this universe could produce. Meanwhile, Jerry finds himself in serious trouble once again, continuing his long-standing tradition of stumbling into disastrous situations. As the household spirals into its usual brand of dysfunction, Rick remains entirely unbothered, operating precisely as one would expect him to: unpredictable, indifferent, and unmistakably himself. The intertwining of Summer’s otherworldly romance, Jerry’s mounting peril, and Rick’s signature behavior creates a compelling backdrop for this unique narrative. This special presentation, titled Summer Meets God, offers audiences a fresh perspective on the beloved Rick and Morty universe through a distinct creative lens. The short is helmed by Takashi Sano, the acclaimed director widely recognized for his celebrated work on the Tower of God animated series. His visionary approach brings a striking stylistic flair to the familiar characters, making this project an essential experience for fans of both the franchise and exceptional animation.
