Earl and Fairy: A Gentle Proposal

Lydia is a fairy doctor, blessed with the rare ability to see and communicate with the hidden folk. She has been employed by Edgar, a charming yet enigmatic earl whose polished manners conceal a troubled history. Her unique talents quickly prove indispensable when a diminutive field fairy arrives at his London estate bearing an extraordinary message. The tiny emissary has come to summon Edgar—recognized in their realm as the Blue Knight Earl—to become the husband of the Fairy Queen. However, this otherworldly proposal cannot proceed without a crucial artifact: a mystical ring embedded with moonlight, which has recently been stolen. As Lydia works alongside Edgar to navigate this supernatural dilemma, a complication from her own past emerges. A wild kelpie she once knew in her hometown suddenly reappears, and this untamed water spirit has set his sights on claiming Lydia herself as his bride, leaving her caught between two very different and dangerous marriage proposals.
