Earl and Fairy: Requiem for a Goddess

Lord Edgar Ashenbert’s desire to wed the fairy doctor Lydia Carlton has only intensified. Having gained a far deeper understanding of the earl's true nature, Lydia finds her former resolve crumbling; she can no longer dismiss his earnest proposals as easily as she once did. Yet their evolving relationship is overshadowed by a dark and growing threat. London has become the hunting ground for a string of brutal murders, and the evidence points toward Edgar’s most dangerous adversary—the enigmatic figure known as the Prince. Determined to shield Lydia from this encroaching peril, the earl insists that she leave the city and take refuge within the safety of his country estate. Bound by duty and concern, Lydia agrees, and the two suddenly find themselves sharing the same roof. As they navigate this unexpected domestic proximity, the tension between them deepens. Caught between the blossoming intimacy of their living arrangement and the looming shadow of the Prince’s violence, Edgar and Lydia must confront both the mysteries unraveling in London and the fragile, shifting boundaries of their own hearts.
