Bakashoujiki ga Taosenai

For Kakeru Senma, maintaining a pleasant facade has always been the key to an effortless life. As a chronic people pleaser, he navigates his days with a constant smile, ensuring that everyone around him likes him. That carefully constructed world shatters when a complete stranger named Makoto Takafuji approaches him and delivers three devastating words: "I hate you." Stifling his shock and resentment, Kakeru resolves to keep as much distance from this abrasive newcomer as possible. Yet, no matter how hard he tries to evade him, Makoto inexplicably continues to appear everywhere he goes. Just as Kakeru exhausts himself searching for a way out of this relentless predicament, his perspective begins to shift. He finds himself unexpectedly captivated by the sight of Makoto practicing Japanese archery with intense focus and discipline, leading him to wonder if the blunt young man might not be so terrible after all. However, any budding admiration is quickly complicated by Makoto’s baffling behavior. Without warning or explanation, Makoto repeatedly steals kisses and touches him inappropriately, leaving Kakeru trapped between his lingering frustration and a growing, confusing attraction.
