Love Without Borders

Three years after a failed assassination attempt on the President of the United States, the National Intelligence Agency finds itself at a frustrating standstill. With the investigation yielding little progress, mounting political pressure threatens to force the agency to hand the case over to American authorities. Just as the situation reaches a critical juncture, an unexpected development shifts the entire trajectory of the inquiry: Lee Yeon-U, a former North Korean intelligence agent, suddenly emerges and requests official protection. This startling defection thrusts the stalled investigation into a volatile new phase, though Lee Yeon-U’s true identity and underlying motives remain entirely obscured. To manage the unpredictable defector, the agency assigns Ryu Seong, a former special forces major, to serve as his personal protector. As the two men are drawn into a tense and dangerous partnership, a pressing question looms over the operation. It remains unclear whether Lee Yeon-U is a vital witness holding the key to unraveling the conspiracy or a cunning suspect deeply entangled in the very plot they are trying to solve.
