Tucked away in a forgotten corner of a bustling metropolis stands the unassuming storefront of Time Photo Studio. To passing pedestrians, the shop appears long abandoned, its quiet exterior betraying none of the extraordinary work happening within. In truth, it is actively operated by two young men, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, who harbor remarkable supernatural abilities that set them apart from the rest of the world. Together, they accept commissions from clients seeking to resolve lingering regrets or uncover hidden truths. By combining their unique powers, the pair can physically project themselves into the frozen moments captured within photographs, navigating the past to fulfill these requests. What begins as a straightforward service soon reveals itself to be a delicate and dangerous endeavor. As they delve deeper into the lives preserved behind the lens, they quickly discover that altering or even observing history carries unforeseen consequences, and their carefully laid plans rarely unfold as intended.
