Iizuna Fair

Amidst the chaos of a frenzied night, a man finds himself adrift within the fractured crevices of time. His isolation is not brought about by grotesque creatures or lurking monsters, but rather by his own paradoxical existence. He occupies a haunting liminal space—present yet entirely absent—rendering him nothing more than a phantom wandering through his own life. He remains buried beneath the weight of suppressed memories and promises that were never fulfilled, while unspoken words wash up like debris along a distant shore. Time itself acts as an impenetrable barrier, holding him at a deliberate distance from the place he desperately seeks to reach. Yet, even in this profound exile, he is not entirely alone in the silence. From across the vast divide, he hears poems carried upon the waves. They arrive from the other side, their rhythmic verses lapping gently against the shoreline, echoing through the emptiness as a haunting reminder of everything he has lost and can no longer touch.
