The World Ends with You The Animation

Neku regains consciousness in the heart of Shibuya’s crowded Scramble Crossing, entirely devoid of any memory regarding his arrival. He soon discovers that he has not merely lost his way in the city; instead, he has been thrust into a hidden, parallel dimension referred to as the Underground. Within this unfamiliar realm, Neku finds himself forced into a deadly competition known as the Reapers' Game, a perilous trial from which there is no easy escape. To endure the relentless challenges ahead, Neku is compelled to form an alliance with a young woman named Shiki. Operating as reluctant partners, the pair must navigate a series of demanding missions while battling hostile creatures identified as Noise. As they fight for their lives against these monstrous threats, they slowly begin to unravel the disturbing truths concealed beneath the surface of the Game's twisted design. Survival in this distorted version of Shibuya demands absolute cooperation, governed by a single unforgiving rule: trusting one's partner is the only path to staying alive.
