Farewell, My Dear Cramer

Throughout her junior high school years, Sumire Suo struggled to achieve any notable success on the soccer field. Despite her undeniable talent as a winger, she lacked the team support necessary to make a meaningful impact, leaving her without any significant accomplishments to show for her dedication to the sport. This period of quiet frustration sets the stage for an unexpected turn in her athletic journey as she prepares to enter high school. The catalyst for change arrives in the form of Midori Soshizaki, Suo’s primary rival. In a surprising move, Soshizaki extends a sincere invitation for Suo to join her at the same high school and play on the very same team. She makes a heartfelt promise that she will never allow Suo to carry the burden of playing alone again. This earnest proposal presents Suo with a compelling dilemma: whether to trust her former rival and embrace a new chapter defined by collaboration rather than solitary effort. Ultimately, Suo's decision marks the beginning of a broader narrative that brings together an expansive cast of uniquely talented players. As these individual personalities converge on the pitch, the story unfolds into a vibrant exploration of teamwork, ambition, and the diverse characters who define the world of high school soccer.
