DELIVER POLICE: Nishitokyo-shi Deliver Keisatsutai

In the near future, rapid advancements in transportation technology have fundamentally transformed society. Recognizing that conventional law enforcement agencies are increasingly limited in their ability to maintain public safety, the Japanese government introduces a groundbreaking initiative. Citizens are officially authorized to assist in apprehending criminals, provided they operate strictly within designated jurisdictions. This unprecedented policy gives rise to a new class of civilian enforcers known as the Deliver Police. Taichi, a young man who has harbored dreams of becoming a hero since childhood, eagerly embraces this new role. By day, he works his primary job producing anime, but he dedicates his remaining time to active duty as one of these newly deputized officers. Navigating the demanding balance between his creative career and his vigilante responsibilities, he relies heavily on the guidance of his operator, Kazuko, who coordinates his efforts from behind the scenes. Together, they face the constant pressure of racing against the clock to intercept villains before it is too late, testing whether Taichi’s lifelong dream can truly hold up against the harsh realities of crime-fighting.
