Hiiragi is a twenty-six-year-old single woman who finds herself increasingly pushed to the margins of society. Weighed down by the relentless exhaustion of her daily job and a growing sense of disillusionment with her life, she struggles to find meaning or motivation in her everyday routine. The pressures of adulthood have left her feeling isolated and deeply weary, drifting through her days without a clear sense of purpose or direction. Yet, despite the heavy burden of her emotional fatigue and creeping despair, one fundamental reality remains unchanged: she still needs to eat. No matter how profound her sadness becomes or how difficult her circumstances feel, the basic necessity of preparing and consuming meals anchors her to the present moment. Her ongoing journey revolves around this simple but essential act, as she navigates the quiet challenges of living alone while battling inner exhaustion. Through the daily ritual of feeding herself, Hiiragi confronts her weariness one meal at a time, finding that even in her lowest moments, the need for sustenance keeps her moving forward.
