Your Forma

In an alternate version of 2023, a groundbreaking technology known as Your Forma has transformed human existence. Originally engineered as a medical intervention during a devastating viral encephalitis pandemic, this "smart thread" innovation has since woven itself into the fabric of everyday life. However, its convenience carries a severe cost: the threads continuously record every visual detail, sound, and emotional state experienced by their users, erasing the boundary between private thought and accessible data. Electronic investigator Echika Hieda leverages this invasive capability to solve complex crimes, diving directly into suspects' recorded memories to uncover hidden evidence. Her extraordinary aptitude for this demanding work comes at a steep price, as her human assistants consistently suffer neurological damage trying to match her intense pace. After hospitalizing one too many aides, her superiors finally assign her a partner capable of keeping up—Harold Lucraft, a highly intelligent and sharp-tongued android. Together, this mismatched pair must overcome their deep-seated mutual distrust to prevent a lethal technological infection from spreading across the globe before time runs out.
