Conflicted

Everyone possesses an inherent understanding of justice, yet perspectives on what is truly right often clash with reality. At the center of this tension is a dedicated protagonist who firmly believes in her moral compass, choosing to champion her ideals and voice her opinions on the front lines of social justice protests. She participates in these demonstrations with the earnest hope of driving meaningful change within her community. However, the delicate balance between peaceful advocacy and volatile unrest shatters when one of these demonstrations suddenly spirals out of control, turning violent. This escalation forces the protagonist to confront the dangerous consequences of unyielding conviction. In the aftermath of the chaos, a profound and lingering question emerges regarding human nature and society: whether true, lasting peace can ever be achieved if unchecked self-righteousness were to completely disappear from the world.
