Hokuto no Ken: Jubaku no Machi

In the aftermath of a devastating nuclear war during the twenty-first century, the Earth's surface has been reduced to a barren desert wasteland. Among the many catastrophic consequences of this global conflict is the widespread contamination of the planet's water supply. Amidst this desolation, a ruthless man named Sanga has established a heavily fortified sanctuary known as the Last Land. By seizing absolute control over the city’s only source of uncontaminated water, he maintains an iron grip on its inhabitants, ruling over them as a merciless dictator. When Sanga discovers that the residents of a neighboring settlement called Freedom Village are attempting to excavate their own well to secure independent access to clean water, he views their self-sufficiency as a direct threat to his authority. To crush their efforts, he dispatches his loyal underlings to sabotage the excavation. The brewing regional conflict takes a dramatic turn when Kenshiro, the legendary master of the deadly martial art Hokuto Shinken, intervenes. After rescuing Tobi, an informant hired by Freedom Village, Kenshiro becomes deeply entangled in the struggle between the two factions, setting the stage for an inevitable confrontation against Sanga's oppressive regime.
