Noblesse

For 820 years, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel—known simply as Rai—slept in absolute isolation, entirely unaware of humanity’s relentless scientific and cultural evolution. When he finally opens his eyes, the world he once ruled is unrecognizable, transformed by unfamiliar technologies, shifting social norms, and radically different ways of life. Determined to understand this strange new era, Rai seeks out Frankenstein, a fiercely loyal servant who has since assumed the role of principal at a South Korean high school. Believing the institution offers an ideal vantage point for observation, Rai enrolls as a student and begins spending time with a group of kind-hearted classmates in an earnest attempt to blend into modern society. Yet his dignified composure and complete bewilderment toward contemporary technology make true assimilation nearly impossible. More troubling still, this advanced world proves just as perilous as the one he left behind centuries ago. As hidden threats emerge from the shadows, the elegant but hopelessly out-of-place noble finds himself drawn into a series of conflicts that are as absurd as they are deadly, forcing him to navigate both the trivialities of teenage life and the dangers lurking beneath it.
