B.B. Girls

For as long as she can remember, Isami Mishima has been sidelined by fragile health, forced to watch from the stands while others enjoyed sports and school clubs. Now stepping into high school, she is determined to leave those limitations behind. Inspired by a beloved manga, Isami sets her sights on an ambitious dream: joining the girls' basketball team. Though she is physically small, noticeably weak, and completely lacking in experience, she possesses an unshakable enthusiasm and a stubborn drive that refuse to be ignored. Earning her place on the roster proves to be a challenge of spirit rather than skill. While her athletic abilities fall far short of her peers, Isami's relentless determination eventually wins over her new teammates, officially launching her long-awaited basketball journey. However, the reality of the court quickly sets in. She remains significantly behind the other girls in every measurable aspect of the game, facing a steep and grueling climb to catch up. Despite the overwhelming odds and the vast gap in talent, Isami remains steadfast in her resolve, refusing to surrender her dream no matter how difficult the road ahead may be.
