Hone to Kawa to ga Hanareru Oto

A strikingly beautiful young man arrives at a local detective agency, deeply unsettled by an inexplicable phenomenon haunting his daily life. He is plagued by strange, mysterious noises that seem to emerge from nowhere, leaving him desperate for answers and unable to identify their true origin. Seeking professional help, he hopes the agency can finally unravel the source of these unsettling sounds and restore his peace of mind. Detective Sakagami takes on the peculiar case, though his eagerness to assist is quietly fueled by hidden, ulterior motives rather than pure professional dedication. Capitalizing on the young man's distress, Sakagami proposes an overnight investigation, intending to monitor the situation firsthand and uncover the truth behind the auditory disturbances as darkness falls. However, as the hours slowly drag on through the night, the investigation yields absolutely no tangible clues. The expected sounds fail to provide any concrete evidence, and the long hours pass in frustrating silence. Yet, despite the apparent lack of progress or paranormal activity, a lingering sense of unease begins to settle over the scene. Something about the quiet atmosphere feels fundamentally wrong, hinting that the mystery may be far more complex than it initially appeared.
