D.N.Angel follows the story of Niwa Daisuke, an average teenager whose life takes a dramatic turn on his 14th birthday. After failing to confess his love to the girl of his dreams, Daisuke discovers that he has the ability to transform into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy whenever he thinks about her. As he struggles to understand his newfound powers, Daisuke learns that his mother has been using his Dark persona to steal valuable works of art for a mysterious purpose.
