Lizard, Angels, and Daemons

During a casual lunch together, Bun and Nagiko find themselves deep in conversation about Bun’s complicated romantic life. The discussion takes a more probing turn when Nagiko begins pressing him for details regarding his relationship with Daisuke. Caught off guard by her direct questioning, Bun quickly offers justifications for his hesitation to push the matter further. He insists that he refuses to force Daisuke into making an impossible choice between his current lover and another woman, framing his reluctance as an act of consideration rather than avoidance. However, once the meal concludes and Bun is left alone with his thoughts, the confident explanation he offered Nagiko begins to unravel. He starts to doubt his own motives, wondering if his noble-sounding reasoning was merely a convenient excuse to avoid facing an uncomfortable truth. This growing internal conflict forces Bun to reevaluate his stance and the emotional barriers he has built around himself. As his doubts intensify, he is driven toward a critical crossroads: will he continue hiding behind rationalizations, or will he finally gather the courage to confront Daisuke directly about what he genuinely desires from their relationship?
