In a world where humans and demi-humans coexist, both populations face a troubling decline. To combat this shared crisis, society relies on a unique system: once humans reach maturity, those designated as "supporters" are tasked with assisting members of various other races. The matchmaking process that determines these partnerships is entirely automated, ensuring that the resulting pairings remain a complete mystery until they are officially revealed. A teacher working within this integrated society finds his life turned upside down when his own match is finally announced. Expecting a routine assignment, he is stunned to discover that his designated partner is not only an elf princess but also one of his current students. This unexpected revelation thrusts him into a complicated dilemma, forcing him to navigate the delicate boundaries between his professional responsibilities and his newly assigned role. As he attempts to fulfill his duties as a supporter while managing the shock of being paired with someone from his own classroom, the story explores the challenges of duty, societal expectations, and unforeseen connections in a fragile world.
